Volunteer at RiverArts
Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to become involved in the arts, and Chestertown RiverArts offers numerous opportunities. Hanging shows, gallery sitting, painting walls, planning and staffing special events, providing hospitality services at show openings, computer work, telephone calling, writing press releases, and even carpentry are some of the areas where volunteers can make a huge difference to the Gallery. Whether you are a student, stay-at-home parent, retiree or anyone with some free time during office hours, we could use your organizational skills to help with a variety of projects. Most opportunities are during the day, but evening hours are available.
Among the many reasons to volunteer at Chestertown RiverArts are the following:
- To get to know a community organization and be part of a team
- To donate your professional skills
- To have a positive impact on promoting the arts
- To receive community service credit
- To be challenged and learn some new skills
- To make new friends and have fun
