A class for intermediate to advanced students who want to continue to develop their throwing and creative technique through one-on-one teaching and self-directed projects. For more advanced learners, the focus will be on aesthetics, craftsmanship, and personal expression.

Fees: Tuition includes your first 25 lbs of clay and bisque firing. There is an extra fee for glaze firings dependent on the size of your pieces.
 Toolkits are available for purchase during the first class at $25.

About the Instructor
Marilee Schumann has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the University of Maryland and taught ceramics at Washington College, Chestertown, where she did her undergraduate studies. Functional and decorative ceramic vessels with contemporary style and elegant glazes are a specialty, although her work encompasses cast metal, mixed media constructions and even rustic furniture. Marilee has exhibited widely, including at Artworks and RiverArts, and has received numerous awards for her art. REFUND POLICY: Students can request a refund if withdrawn by the registration deadline, less a 10% administrative fee.
