Chestertown RiverArts Hosts GALA on September 14

Chestertown RiverArts is hosting a Fundraiser GALA on Friday, September 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 inthe newly renovated Gallery at 315 High Street, Suite 106.  The theme of the GALA is “Art’s Alive at RiverArts” and guests can expect to be greeted and served by a live American Gothic painting or one of Picasso’s ladies and bartenders dressed as famous art characters.  The RiverArts GALA will also include live music, dancing, bountiful appetizers, wine and a spectacular silent auction.  From 7 – 8:30, local musicians, Phil Dutton on the keyboard and Mike Buccino on the bass, will provide the musical entertainment.  These gentlemen love music and their singing and playing are contagious.

This fundraising event will help pay for the recent art center renovation and the future success of our mission to engage the community in the creation, appreciation, and support of art and artists through education, events and exhibitions.
