What is a Rube Goldberg machine? It’s a device, invention or contraption that is deliberately over-engineered to do a simple task. See the example below.

During this workshop, instructor Raven Bishop will teach participants to make simple machines such as levers, pulleys, and wedges. By the end of the workshop, each group will create their own “Machine.” We will make a video of all of the machines in action for you to watch any time you want on our website!
