Youth Plein Air 2014

KidSPOT, Chestertown RiverArts’ new children’s programming center, is sponsoring “Youth Plein Air,” an outdoors painting event for children 9-12 and teens 13-17 during RiverArts’ Paint the Town celebration on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Canvas, paints, brushes and easels will be provided for artists use. Entry is $5 per participant. Art supplies are being generously supplied by our sponsor, The Finishing Touch. Limited space is available so please register early!

Easels will be set up on Saturday, April 26 from 12pm – 2pm. They will be placed circling the fountain in Fountain Park but artists can decide if they want to paint the fountain or to turn their easels out and paint the Chestertown Farmers’ Market surrounding them. This event is rain or shine – a tent will already be erected over the fountain as part of the Taste the Town event.
