The Winter 2020 Session: February 3 – April 2
Monday – Thursday, 4 – 6pm (must register for a minimum of 2 days per week)
Daily snack provided, themed art activities, field trips, theatre arts, STEAM activities, and more!
Free pick-up is available for students at Garnet Elementary School

3:45 – 4:00 Pick up at Garnet Elementary. LaToya walks students to KidSPOT
4:00 Students from other locations arrive
4:00-4:30 Snack and open ended activities available
4:30-5:45 Present and engage in exploration of the day
5:45-6:00 Clean-up: Parents pick up children by 6:00
Cost: $17 per day (minimum of 2 days per week) / $65 per week (a $3 discount if enrolled four 4 days per week)

LaToya Johnson, After School Program Director and Lead Teacher: LaToya is a Kent County resident, born and raised. When she isn’t “Saving Hope”, she spends her time raising her three children, Kamryn, Madison and Malcolm. LaToya has over 12 years experience working with children, youth and families in both nonprofit and direct service. She enjoys writing poetry, reading, music and organizing events that give back to the community.

Marie Sneddon earned her degree in Physical Education/Health from Michigan State University. She has taught PE for many years to homeschooled children in a group setting. She is a fitness enthusiast who loves to share the fun of exercise and movement to people of all ages. She looks forward to her third year at KidSPOT After School.
Hester Sachse first came to the Eastern Shore as a student of Washington College, graduating in 2009 and majoring in Theatre, where she directed Much Ado About Nothing for her senior thesis. Hester recently took on the position of Executive Manager at Church Hill Theatre, and is delighted to also be returning to RiverArts this year.
