Gallery shows include work from RiverArts Photography Club, Plein Air group, the Maine Pastel Group, as well as work generated and/or inspired from RIverArts workshops and classes.

Inez Santori

One of our newest volunteers, Inez, has already become invaluable. An ex computer programmer, she is a wiz at helping Sue and Andy keep up with the many, many spreadsheets we juggle every day. Inez’s husband, Paul, is a frequent Gallery artist and his bold Plein Air and abstract paintings may be found brightening up most of our exhibits. They are both wonderful additions to RiverArts.

Carol Droge

You can find Carol, smiling behind the reception desk in the RiverArts Gallery, every week, manning the phones and answering questions. She has also taken on the challenge of keeping all our volunteer hours up to date and ensures that all our membership information is current and accurate. We are very grateful to have her steady help and support. Carol is also an active volunteer for the United Way of Kent County, making her not only a valuable asset for RiverArts, but for our community as well .

Anna Hurd

Saturday mornings are Anna’s favorite time to volunteer. She loves the hustle and bustle that the Farmers’ Market generates downtown, attracting both old and new friends to the Gallery. A retired teacher, she keeps up to date on the local and not so local news and also thoroughly enjoys art and travel. You can always count on her to be able to answer questions about what’s going on in and around the town, making her the perfect person to have in the Gallery greeting our weekend visitors.

Muriel Cole

Muriel, volunteers in the RiverArts Gallery, KidSPOT, as well as behind the scenes at most RA events, offering to help whenever and wherever she is needed. She is also very active in many other local organizations and is especially concerned with the health and well being of our senior citizens. She is on the Kent County Commission on Aging, a past member of the State Commission on Aging, and has served on the board of HomePorts (past president). We are so fortunate to have her.
