RiverArts Annual Holiday Show and Sale
Opening: Friday, November 28, 2014
Drop-off: 11/23/14, 1-3 p.m.; 11/24/14 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Pick-up: 1/4/15, 1-3 p.m.; 1/5/14 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
It is way past time for us to be creating items for the Holiday Show and Sale. We have become known for our selection of locally handmade gifts and we want to continue in that tradition. Drop-off will be Sunday and Monday, November 23, 1-3 p.m and November 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.The Show and Sale opens on Black Friday, November 28. We open in the Studio Gallery on November 28 and expand to fill the entire Gallery on December 1, so we are asking that all items be brought in Nov. 23 & 24. Items not used the first week in the Studio Gallery will be stored for the week in KidSpot and put out in the Main Gallery on December 1.
We will again limit the number of items that an artist can have on site to 30 small pieces and 3 large ones. As things sell, artists are encouraged to bring in more items. The artist fee is $10 for those who are not already in the Gift Shop and it is waived for those who have paid their annual fee to display in the Gift Shop.
Please download the Holiday Show Artist Consignment Form and note that the numbering system has changed. Artists’ Codes are the same (first initial of first name and first three initials of last name) but item numbers should start with 2001.
From past experience, we have learned that items priced under $100 sell the best, and those artists who are available to answer questions and promote their work sell the most. Please come to Drop-off with your calendar so you can schedule some time during the Show to be there to promote your work.
We were incredibly successful last year and want to continue that legacy.
