Carter Center, Bayside HOYAS and Jeff Huntington Share People’s Choice Award

The people have spoken! The Harriet Tubman, Code Quilt mural, created at RiverArts on Saturday, January 28 by a group consisting of Carter Center girls, Bayside HOYAS,  Jeff Huntington and Julia Gibb of Future History Now, and RiverArts staff was the overwhelming winner of the People’s Choice Award.

The mural is included in Huntington’s solo exhibit, Catalyst,  in the RiverArts Studio Gallery. The exhibit will be on view through Sunday, February 26, after which the hope is to find a home for it in Kent County.

The Main Gallery exhibit, Five Under Thirty-Five (35/5): Emerging Artists, featuring a variety of mediums, will also be up through February 26.
