Our ArtsAlive! Community Education Center at 200 High Street in Chestertown hosts classes in a wide array of mediums, techniques, and forms, for all levels of skill and experience, Life Drawing sessions, Pop-Up Galleries and other events, and groups including the RiverArts Photography Club.

Clay Studio Private Class- Youth One on One

December 12, 2018 @ 8:00 am - December 31, 2019 @ 5:00 pm

This course is designed to give one youngster (ages 10-15,)  individual attention from one of our accomplished instructors. The child may choose between the wheel or hand building. The course will be up to 2 hours long and the student will be able to keep ONE piece to be completed (trimmed & glazed) by the instructor and fired in the kiln. This one hour workshop will introduce you to clay and the wheel. You will receive minimal instruction, so that you can get a sense of what is needed to produce a bowl.
