RiverArts Coronavirus Update

RiverArts will suspend in-person group programs and activities in all our locations for 30 days beginning March 13. This includes group classes, KidSPOT sessions, Clay Studio open hours, Life Drawing, Photography Club, and Plein Air groups, RiverArts Film Society screenings, and public events.

We believe people need the Arts more than ever during times of stress and crisis, and we remain committed to growing community, creativity, and connection through the Arts. We will provide alternatives to our usual in-person activities and invite you to contact us via phone, email, or social media with suggestions and questions, or just to say hello.

We’ll get through this and learn to practice “social distancing” without “social isolation.”

Our ArtsAlive! Community Education Center at 200 High Street in Chestertown hosts classes in a wide array of mediums, techniques, and forms, for all levels of skill and experience, Life Drawing sessions, Pop-Up Galleries and other events, and groups including the RiverArts Photography Club.
