Studio Tour Artists’ Exhibit Opens

Sculpture, metal work, pottery, fiber, woodcraft, jewelry, furniture, glass, pastel, watercolor, oils, photography, print making and more; traditional to modern – all is  represented at the  Studio Tour exhibit which opened October 7, First Friday. The show offers a sampling of the work of the more than 45 artists participating in the 17th Annual Studio Tour,  which runs two weekends: October 22 – 23 and October 29 – 30.

Hundreds of First Friday attendees cast their ballots for the People’s Choice Award. Congratulations to the winner, Christine Kamon for her quilt, Light in the Forest, and close runner up  Evie Baskin for her portrait, entititled Determination.

This perennially popular Studio Tour  allows visitors to visit a number of artist studios not generally open to the public, see work in progress and speak directly with the artists.

Participating Studios and galleries are open 10 am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday on both weekends.
