Fifteen years ago, while pursuing her lifelong interest in making jewelry, Nancy took her first silversmith class. It changed everything! From that point on, Nancy was dedicated to exploring all forms of jewelry design from silver to beads. She has studied locally and nationally and participated in numerous juried art shows. Nancy’s jewelry is represented by the following galleries: Horse Spirit Arts Gallery, Artist’s Emporium
From 2005-2008 Nancy was President of the Baltimore Bead Society. She then accepted the role of the bead society’s workshop chairperson. Nancy has taught many classes on beadweaving, chain making, and metalsmithing.
Nancy worked for the Howard County Public School System where she taught middle and high school school English and technology for 42 years. From 1992 to present, she has also managed and conducted numerous college level courses in technology. Nancy lives in Ellicott City, Maryland
