The Humans of Kent County will be on exhibit in the RiverArts main gallery opening First Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and running through November 13. This exhibit showcases more than 60 stories of folks that have been interviewed and photographed in the year-long celebration of the unique human beings who live or work in Kent County. New to the Humans of Kent County are the stories of John Queen, Paul Tue and Pierre Tue, the three leaders of the Bayside Hoyas and some of their students. Stories and photographs have been printed on posters that have been on exhibit in in venues around the county including Galena, Betterton, Millington and Chestertown. Posters currently on exhibit will be on sale for $25 a poster.
In the Studio Gallery, RiverArts will show the paintings of S. E. Moore from November 1 – 13. Moore is a Chestertown resident who works in acrylics. The paintings in this show have been completed in the last three years. A separate reception for Moore will be at the gallery on Saturday, November 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
