RiverArts Update – August 2020

RiverArts has suspended in-person group programs and activities in all our locations for the time being, based on recommendations of health experts and requirements of the State of Maryland.
We believe people need the Arts more than ever during times of stress and crisis, and we remain committed to our mission of growing community, creativity, and connection through the Arts. We invite you to sign up for our Daily Dose email newsletter (blue button below), and to join in the exciting new programs including weekly Salon discussions, Photography Club and Craft Club meetings, and others, with much more to come.

You may also visit our  new website to see our current offerings!
Please feel free to contact us via phone (410-778-6300), email (, or social media with suggestions and questions, or just to say hello.
We’ll get through this and learn to practice “social distancing” without “social isolation.”

The RiverArts Film Society (RAFS) is dedicated to providing transformative cinematic experiences by screening with diverse perspectives. We present at least 12 film screenings per year, each followed by a thought-provoking “Talkback Session” facilitated by Community Curators or presenters including filmmakers.

New and exciting for 2020: All RAFS screenings will be held at the Chesapeake 5 Movies in Chestertown, Maryland!
