This 4 week Special Topic Class is for Intermediate/Advanced Students who want to explore the sensual qualities of this ancient clay. Whether you choose to jump straight into porcelain, or work your way up to it through white porcelaneous stoneware, Rick will guide you through the process. By working in porcelain you gain delicacy while maintaining strength, and purity and intensity of glaze colors, achieving amazing results.

About the Instructor: Choosing to work exclusively in porcelain, Rick Bisgyer has been a full time ceramic artist for the last two decades. “Rick Bisgyer, my porcelain teacher, has the drive and skilled technique to create quality porcelain objects with a strong sense of form that really represent the essence of the maker. He encourages his students with exploration and technique to be open to the possibilities of their own creativity.”
