KidSPOT Summer Camp
We are sorry to announce that we have come to yet another difficult decision in the cascade of difficult decisions we’ve made this season. It will not surprise you to hear that we have concluded that we cannot offer KidSPOT Summer Camps this year in view of the risks posed by the COVID 19 pandemic. The health of our instructors and students remains paramount. There is a clear consensus among medical professionals and public health experts that the dangers posed by the virus are still with us. We cannot allow KidSPOT to become a vector for infection, and looking at guidelines established by state and local authorities, we are faced with the reality that there is no plausible way to offer Summer Camp while providing sufficient protection to our instructors, volunteers, and campers—and by extension to the families of everyone involved in the program. We are still here for our KidSPOT kids and families. We have plans in the works for providing arts experiences for kids this summer, and we will keep you posted as these plans take shape. We hope you’ll stay in touch with us via email and social media. Say hello, show us your projects, creative creations, and share your ideas about how KidSPOT can help you Play, Create, Explore this summer. Take care and stay safe, and we will see you again just as soon as we can.
